SolFrut cultivations are located in the best growing area of olive and grapes of the provinces of San Juan and La Rioja. PHRÓNESIS has invested for 30 uninterrupted years in applied research, modern irrigation systems, pruning, harvesting and innovative grafting programs which transformed semidesert areas into sustainable productive hectares. Today, these areas have become the reference for the new olive and grape growing.
In the vineyards and olive groves, over 100 people work. They are specialized in the care of the world’s best varieties of olive and vine, and enhance the flavor and quality of fruits in the climate of the Andes foothills.
The combination of fruits from different Andean foothill areas is the pillar on which SolFrut builds the best productive stability. This strategic combination produces a wider range of olive oil and wine varietals with unique aromas and intense properties.
JJ estate is located in Casuarinas, in the province of San Juan. This estate includes the olive plantation, the winery and an olive oil elaboration and bottling plant.
EL PRINCIPIO ESTATE
El Principio estate is located in Cañada Honda, on the 40th Route. Finca del Principio shows an ideal land slope which allows to make the best use of the cold weather of the Andean foothills to produce the best flavors and aromas while minimizing the risk of ground frost.
Capayán estate is located in Chilecito, province of La Rioja, in the valley between Mount Velazco and Mount Famatina. This area has a significant temperature variation which favors olive production. Scarcity of rain preserves the health of plants and makes the implementation of medium and high density productive plans possible.
FINCA DEL ENLACE
Finca del Enlace’s vineyards were the first to use the single wire trellis as an agronomic system to take care of modern vineyards. Single-wire trellis, originally from Australia, help vines to grow freely, achieve an ideal balance between grape quantity and leaf area, better pruning, enhanced mechanical harvesting and optimal preservation of fruit qualities.
